About

A sock is a grid of stitches. Design for the grid.

Custom Crew Socks knits and prints socks in bulk — knitted crews, fine-gauge dress pairs, cushioned team socks, 360 printed photo pairs, retail-ready merch packs and corporate programmes.

Custom printed crew socks with logo

Custom socks get ordered like custom t-shirts: upload a logo, pick a colour, choose S/M/L.

But a sock is not printed fabric. It is a machine-knitted grid of stitches with a resolution, a heel that decides whether the design faces forward, and a wearer who will judge it barefoot at the fifth wash.

Everything we make starts from those three facts, because they are the whole difference between socks that enter the rotation and socks that enter the drawer.

Why we exist

Sock programmes fail in the same ways everywhere: fine type that turned to mush at knitting gauge, tube socks whose logos photograph sideways, scratchy yarn that got worn once, and reorders in a navy that almost matches.

None of those are machine failures. They are specification failures, decided before the first stitch — which is where we do our work.

The knit chart is the proof

A sock’s needle count is its resolution, and every design has a stitch floor below which detail dissolves. So we redraw artwork as a knit chart at the machine’s real gauge and proof THAT — simplifying with you where the grid demands it.

The chart is what you approve, so the sock matches the proof rather than a mockup fantasy. And when artwork genuinely cannot be knitted — photographs, fine gradients — we say so and offer the printed sock, honestly described as a different product with a different feel.

The heel is the fit

A true knitted heel pocket anchors the sock’s rotation on the leg, which is what keeps the design facing forward. A tube sock has no heel, rotates freely, and puts the wordmark sideways in every photo.

We knit heels. Always. And sizing runs in shoe-size bands rather than S/M/L guessing, because a sock that fits is the precondition for everything else.

Judged at the fifth wear

The branded sock that makes someone’s rotation is the most-worn merch item there is — worn weekly for years, seen at every airport security line. The scratchy one is the least.

So the yarn is combed, the heel and toe are reinforced in their own harder-wearing yarns, and the cuff holds without garroting. Comfort is not a footnote on the spec; it is the marketing strategy.

Retail-ready or it is not merch

A merch table has no back room. Socks that arrive carded, banded and countable sell; loose pairs in poly bags get rummaged.

So packaging is a first-class product here — header cards, band wraps, boxed pairs, multi-pair packs — and fundraiser quotes carry the arithmetic up front: unit cost, table price, margin per pair.

Programmes run on rails

We hold the knit chart, the yarn references and the size curve. A reorder is one email, dye is matched to the physical reference, and delivery arrives sorted by team, office or size band with the tail sizes included.

That is what turns a sock order into infrastructure — and what keeps a uniform programme from decaying into a drawer of near-miss navies.

How we price

No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with gauge, colours, construction and quantity, and it falls steeply across programmes and fundraiser runs. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one.

What we will talk you out of

Twelve knit colours at dress gauge. Fine type below the stitch floor. Tube socks in any form. A photographic design on a knitted sock. And an S/M/L order for a workforce with feet.

Every one of those costs us money to say and saves you a failed run.
